SlashZero Secret Bosses and HIEROS-I

Erik's rematch, Ye's story flags, and the first look at HIEROS-I, Lord of the Void, inside the September demo window.

Secret Bosses and HIEROS-I

The SlashZero demo is not only Sector 7 on repeat. Streetlamp added secret bosses Erik and Ye, and players who finish the challenge chain can encounter HIEROS-I, Lord of the Void — the Timehackers’ actual target. This page is the hunt structure, the story vocabulary around Silver, Timeline Zero, and the Null Void, and how to walk into those rooms without donating a loop. Unlock order still starts with a completed Nyx or Fina run; if Hamlet is still locked, read how to unlock Hamlet first. Calendar and wipe rules sit on the demo guide.

None of this is the full game. Spring 2027 is still the launch window (Steam lists Q1 2027). HIEROS-I in the demo is a first meeting, not a 1.0 credits fight.

Erik: the rematch you already lost

Erik shows up early as the enemy who severs your connection to Silver and puts you on the floor. That first beating is scripted enough that new players think the demo is broken. It is not. Silver is the voice that yanks you through timelines; Erik cutting that line is the story telling you the hub is not a free respawn forever.

Streetlamp’s demo notes: after your first clear, re-enter the timeline and complete it again to unlock secret boss Erik. Translation:

  1. Finish a real loop (the same clear that starts Hamlet’s chain).
  2. Take the street lamp back into that timeline, not a random new branch if the prompt is pointing at the old one.
  3. Clear it a second time with the extra tools you now have — Baseline revival, a Dual Blessing, a Chip you actually understand.

Erik on the rematch is a full fight. Bring a build, not curiosity. Flame detonators and Fate revival both help if your dash still panics. See builds before you spend the evening learning his third swing the hard way.

Ye: the NPC who stops being scenery

Ye appeared as an NPC across maps in earlier tests and trailers. In this demo Ye becomes a secret boss only after you complete a series of Ye-related story events. There is no “fight Ye” door sitting on the first street.

Practical rules:

  • Talk to Ye whenever the body is standing in a timeline. Exhaust lines. If a lamp, item, or camp scene references Ye, do that loop next.
  • Do not skip camp after a Ye scene. Rui and Silver both carry follow-ups that look like flavour.
  • Finish the chain, then expect a fight. Ye is not a shopkeeper who stays a shopkeeper.

If Erik is a rematch against someone who already humiliated you, Ye is a flag hunt. Missing a talk is more common than missing a parry.

HIEROS-I, Lord of the Void

HIEROS-I is the collapse in the sky. Official copy: as the timelines fall, HIEROS-I descends and means to drag every timeline toward destruction. Timehackers, guided by Silver, hunt Timeline Zero and put an end to the Lord of the Void. Scattered Authority Keys and the Null Void sit in that same myth: Keys of Causality give rise to the Null Void and to the Timehackers as a resistance.

In this demo, Streetlamp says that after you fight through loops and finally defeat hidden boss Erik, you meet HIEROS-I for the first time. He appears as an immense, distant figure and hurls the timeline toward collapse. Players who complete the necessary challenges can encounter him. That is an encounter, not a promise that you delete the villain in twenty days.

Story map language you may see:

  • Key Event HIEROS-I Rift — the tear, not a Blessing shop.
  • The Final “Nirvana” — a named beat on the map. Treat it as a destination label, not a loot table.

If the sky starts writing new laws, you are in his scene. Do not farm trash on that node thinking it is still Sector 7.

Silver, Timeline Zero, and the Null Void

  • Silver: mysterious guiding voice. Death is a recall through Silver until someone like Erik cuts the line. Listen to the audio; it flags objectives better than a flashing icon.
  • Timeline Zero: the story goal, the uncorrupted through-line you are trying to reach while every other street is a fork.
  • Null Void: the corruption space tied to broken Causality Keys and HIEROS-I’s pressure. When a loading line mentions contamination or Heroes/HIEROS instability, you are closer to secret content than to a shop.

You do not need a lore thesis to fight Erik. You do need to stop skipping camp dialogue if you want Ye and the Rift.

How to walk into a secret fight

  1. Own a completed loop and preferably Hamlet or a Timehacker you can clear bosses with.
  2. Stack one Authority thesis plus Fate Baseline. Secret bosses punish greedy rainbows.
  3. Re-enter the flagged timeline. First-clear energy does not apply on purpose-built rematches.
  4. Spend a Dual Blessing and a shop heal before the door, not after the wipe message.
  5. If you see HIEROS-I after Erik, treat it as the demo’s thesis statement and take the screenshot. The data wipe still lands on 23 September.

The Lord of the Void is the reason the street lamp exists. Erik and Ye are the locked doors Streetlamp put in this test so the team can watch who reads camp and who only mashes Sector 7. Clear the doors you can, write down the ones you cannot, and keep the Spring 2027 release date in mind: this encounter is a first look, not the last timeline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Timehackers jumping into the demo or planning for launch.

Who are the SlashZero demo secret bosses?

Erik and Ye. Erik is a rematch after you re-clear a timeline. Ye unlocks after Ye-related story events. Players who finish the challenge chain can also encounter HIEROS-I.

How do I unlock Erik?

Complete a loop, then re-enter that timeline and complete it again. Erik's first appearance severs Silver and knocks you down; the secret fight is the later rematch.

How do I unlock Ye?

Finish the series of story events tied to Ye. Ye starts as an NPC across maps. Skipping those talks is why the boss never appears.

Can I fight HIEROS-I in the demo?

Yes, as an encounter after the challenge chain — Streetlamp highlights meeting HIEROS-I after defeating hidden boss Erik. It is a first look at the Lord of the Void, not the full-game ending.

What are Timeline Zero and the Null Void?

Timeline Zero is the story goal Silver points you toward. The Null Void is the corruption tied to broken Causality Keys and HIEROS-I. They are plot landmarks, not shop currencies.

Should I do Hamlet or secret bosses first?

Complete a loop, then unlock Hamlet if you want a third kit for packed fights. Erik's rematch can happen on the same clear chain. Do not start Ye's flags on day one of the demo window.
