SlashZero Release Date

Spring 2027 versus Steam's Q1 2027 tag, platforms, and what is still TBA.

Last updated:

SlashZero Release Date

SlashZero does not have a calendar day. Streetlamp Studio and publisher Skystone Games have two public labels that describe the same upcoming window: Spring 2027 (State of Play, 3 September 2026) and Q1 2027 (Steam store tag for app 4061170). This page keeps those labels honest, lists platforms, and flags the fields that are still blank.

If you arrived here looking for a download, that is the time-limited demo, not the full game.

Spring 2027 versus Q1 2027

Spring 2027 is the phrase State of Play used when the story trailer ran. Press coverage and Streetlamp’s own Steam news post repeat it. Q1 2027 is what Steam still prints under Planned Release Date. First quarter (January–March) and spring overlap in the northern hemisphere, but they are not identical. Until Streetlamp names a day, write both:

  • Public window: Spring 2027
  • Steam quarter: Q1 2027
  • Day: TBA
  • Price: TBA
  • Pre-order SKU: not listed

Do not collapse those into a fake March date. Do not treat a content creator’s guess as a patch note.

What State of Play actually locked in

The 3 September 2026 broadcast did three dated things:

  1. Put SlashZero on stage with a story trailer aimed at HIEROS-I.
  2. Said the full game is scheduled for spring 2027.
  3. Pointed at a time-limited demo on PS5 the same day (Streetlamp also opened the Steam demo that afternoon).

It did not name a price, a SKU edition, a collector’s box, or Xbox. Anything else you see in comments is still a comment.

Platforms at announcement

Epic Games StoreAnnouncedNot part of the demo window
PlayStation 5Upcoming, Spring 2027Yes, same 3–23 September window
XboxNot announcedNo

Steam lists full controller support, DualSense / PlayStation controllers, Xbox controllers, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, and single-player. Developers recommend a controller. Details and wishlist steps live on platforms and wishlist.

Wishlist, do not wait for a mystery pre-order

There is no paid pre-order on Steam at the time of the State of Play recap. The useful action is a wishlist on Steam (and a follow on the PS5 product page if you play on console). Wishlist pings you when Streetlamp sets a day or a price. It does not reserve a deluxe edition that does not exist yet.

Epic’s PC listing is part of the announced plan. If you cannot find a store tile today, that is a storefront delay, not a cancelled SKU — unless Streetlamp says otherwise in Steam news.

Follow official channels from the links hub rather than screenshot accounts that invent day-one DLC.

History of the window

The date has gotten more specific in public, not less:

  1. March 2026, Future Games Show. Reveal. Platforms named as PC and PlayStation 5, with Epic in the PC plan. No season.
  2. 27 March–9 April 2026 playtest. Two-hour Windows test, Nyx and Fina, English and Simplified Chinese. Proved the combat loop, not the ship date.
  3. June 2026, PC Gaming Show. New trailer, Hamlet tease. Still no season.
  4. 3 September 2026, State of Play. Spring 2027 plus story trailer plus demo.

That sequence is why this wiki writes upcoming, never a past-tense launch. The September demo is a test with a closing time, not a soft launch.

Languages and session type (launch plan)

Steam’s language matrix for the product:

  • Full audio: English, Simplified Chinese
  • Interface and subtitles: French, German, Japanese, Korean (plus the two audio languages)

Session type: single-player. Steam does not list an online session layer or a couch campaign. If that changes, it will be a store-tag change and a news post, not a silent patch.

What is still TBA

Keep this list short and mean it:

  • Calendar day inside Spring / Q1 2027
  • Price and regional SKUs
  • Whether Epic gets a demo later
  • Xbox
  • Steam Deck verification (Steam currently shows Unknown)
  • macOS / Linux (the PC demo is Windows only; the full PC spec sheet is still a Windows 10 64-bit box)
  • Day-one patch size, photo mode, and accessibility options beyond what the demo already exposes

System boxes for the current PC build are on system requirements. They describe the demo-era sheet, not a guaranteed launch-day 4K target.

Until Streetlamp prints a calendar day, the only dated player actions are the September demo hours and a wishlist. Everything else is waiting. This page will split a new article out of the hub when a day, a price, or a new platform actually hits Steam news — not when a thumbnail claims one.
