SlashZero Tier List Hub
Demo-era S/A/B for Timehackers and Authorities — mobility, range, and unlock cost, not invented DPS.
This hub is a snapshot of the SlashZero demo, not a launch bible. Streetlamp Studio and Skystone Games still schedule the full game for Spring 2027 (Steam lists Q1 2027). The playable test on Steam and PS5 runs 3–23 September 2026 and wipes every save when it ends. Anything we rank here — Nyx, Fina, Hamlet, Flame, Thunder, Fate — can be retuned, expanded, or made irrelevant by a new Timehacker before that launch. Read the lists. Do not tattoo them.
Two child pages live under this hub. The character tier list ranks the three demo Timehackers. The build tier list ranks Authority and Blessing directions. Both exist so you can spend a limited demo clock on kits that teach the game, not on a fake damage table. Streetlamp has not published numeric DPS. We will not invent it.
What “demo-era” means
A demo ranking answers a different question than a launch ranking. The question is not “who will be broken in 2027.” The question is “who helps you see SlashZero clearly before 23 September 2026.” That is why unlock cost sits beside mobility and range. Hamlet can be excellent in a packed interior and still sit below Nyx on this list because you cannot even select him until a loop is done and Rui has been talked to.
It is also why we refuse made-up numbers. Blessing boards already change a run: a Flame Nyx and a Thunder Fina are not the same fighter. A screenshot of Causality of Fate showing a revival baseline is more useful than a spreadsheet cell that pretends to know his sword’s coefficient. If a creator quotes DPS in a thumbnail, treat it as entertainment until Streetlamp ships a parser.
The Authority decoder itself is the other half of the argument. The demo UI lists seven forms: True Self of Flame, Infinity of Space, Eternity of Water, Causality of Fate, Hope of Life, Wisdom of Wind, and Law of Thunder. Infinity of Space is called out as new in this window. Boards will grow. A B-tier Authority today can be an S-tier identity in Spring 2027. This hub will move when the game does; it will not pretend it already did.
Character ranking in one paragraph
Nyx sits at the top of the demo because he is unlocked immediately and he is the fastest air and ground mover, which is what SlashZero’s train roofs and jungle launches actually test. Fina sits just behind: also unlocked, safer spacing, better at reading large bosses, slightly slower. Hamlet sits lower because of the unlock tax and the heavier close-range group kit, not because the shield is a joke. The long version, with S/A/B labels and the reasoning behind each, is the character tier list. Kit pages live on the Timehackers hub.
If you want buttons rather than ranks, skip this hub and open controls. A tier list will not dash for you.
Build ranking in one paragraph
Flame and Thunder are the demo’s loudest directions: burn for people who stand in the pile, lightning plus wet or cold for people who can plant a state and then hit it. Fate’s revival baseline is the run-saver. Water feeds Thunder. Wind feeds Nyx. Space is the new board. Life is the sustain board. Character ties and the S/A/B split live on the build tier list. How to actually pick Blessings mid-loop lives on the build primer. Do not farm this hub for a shopping list and then ignore the primer when three icons appear after a room.
How we will be wrong
We will be wrong when Streetlamp adds a fourth Timehacker who makes Fina’s beams look optional. We will be wrong when Thunder’s wet/cold package is nerfed or when Flame stops paying Nyx for standing in his own ring. We will be wrong when Hamlet’s unlock is a camp toggle instead of a story flag. That is the point of labeling this a demo list. Come back after the wipe, and again around Spring 2027, instead of arguing 2026 screenshots in a launch week thread.
Use the two child pages, then leave. The character tier list is for picking a body. The build tier list is for picking a board. The Timehackers hub is for reading the kits without a letter grade. The build primer is for playing the board you picked. This index exists so those four links sit in one place with the only warning that matters: the demo ends, the data wipes, and the letters will move.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Timehackers jumping into the demo or planning for launch.
Is this SlashZero tier list for the full launch?
No. It is a demo-era ranking for the 3–23 September 2026 window. The full game is still scheduled for Spring 2027. Expect the letters to move.
Where is the character ranking?
On the character tier list. It covers Nyx, Fina, and Hamlet using mobility, range, and unlock cost. Kit writeups live on the Timehackers hub.
Where is the Blessing ranking?
On the build tier list. How to pick and stack those Blessings in a run is the build primer, not this hub.
Why are there no DPS numbers?
Streetlamp has not published them, and Blessings already rewrite a kit mid-loop. Invented numbers would be fiction. We rank roles and costs instead.
Will Hamlet jump tiers after I unlock him?
His kit can feel A in packed rooms. The demo list still charges him for the unlock and the slower movement. Read both the character tier list and Hamlet's page before you treat one loop as a rewrite.
