SlashZero Timehackers Hub
Three kits in the September 2026 demo — dual blades, dual guns, and a stage robot with a folding shield.
SlashZero is a single-player action roguelike. You do not draft a squad. You pick one Timehacker at camp, step through the street lamp, and live or die on that kit until the loop ends. This hub maps the three playable fighters in the 3–23 September 2026 demo: Nyx, Fina, and Hamlet. Use it to choose a first timeline, then jump to the character tier list and the controls guide once you know who you want under your thumbs.
Streetlamp Studio and Skystone Games schedule the full launch for Spring 2027 (Steam still lists Q1 2027) on Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Epic Games Store. The demo on Steam and PS5 wipes every save when the window closes. Rankings, unlocks, and Blessing advice on this wiki are demo-era until that launch roster exists.
What a Timehacker actually is
Streetlamp frames Timehackers as warriors who carry Authority Keys across broken time and hunt HIEROS-I, the Lord of the Void. In play that means a weapon stance, a dash, a special, an ultimate, aerial juggles, and a Blessing board that mutates mid-run. Nyx and Fina start selectable. Hamlet does not. You switch characters at camp, not inside a timeline.
The camp is the quiet half of the loop. Silver’s voice stays in your ear while you fight. Rui handles Fortune Chip business. Previews compared the hub to Hades-style NPC gifting: talk, hand over finds, and come back between runs. None of that is multiplayer. There is no second player dropping in with another Timehacker.
The Authority decoder — True Self of Flame, Infinity of Space, Eternity of Water, Causality of Fate, Hope of Life, Wisdom of Wind, Law of Thunder — is shared. The kit you carry into that board is not. Nyx wants burn and movement. Fina wants space and status at range. Hamlet wants rooms he can pin against a shield. Details live on the build primer and the build tier list.
Nyx — dual blades, close range, fastest mover
Nyx is the male assassin Streetlamp lists with vibroblades. He lives in the enemy’s face, then flicks throwing knives when a gap appears. Early previews called out his air and ground mobility as the fastest of the starting pair, and the demo still plays that way: rooftop dashes, jungle launches, and crowded train cars all reward him. Pick Nyx if you already like hack-and-slash strings and can stomach chip damage to stay in combo range. Read controls before you blame the kit for dropped juggles.
Fina — mid-range guns and safer spacing
Fina is the female Timehacker with blue hair and dual firearms. Official shots put her on a collapsing rooftop firing twin energy beams, and in a flooded arena kiting a dragon-like boss through acid spray. She is slower than Nyx in the air, but she keeps a pocket of space a new player can actually think in. If train roofs feel like a blender, start here. Her page covers when those beams beat Nyx’s blades, and it links the secret boss guide for large telegraphs.
Hamlet — stage robot, sword and shield, unlock tax
Hamlet is the stage robot teased in the June 2026 trailer. He is not on the first character select. Complete a loop as Nyx or Fina, talk to Rui at the Fortune Chip, then chase timeline and mission flags until his story opens. The dedicated Hamlet unlock guide is the checklist; this hub only tells you he exists and why you might want him. His longsword plus reconfigurable shield is built for close-range groups rather than Nyx’s single-target dance. If you enjoy holding a doorway instead of flying past it, he is the third kit worth the extra loop.
How to choose before you leave camp
Ask three questions. Do you want the fastest mover in the demo (Nyx)? Do you want a gunner who can hold a rooftop (Fina)? Or are you willing to spend a completed loop on a robot who clears rooms with a shield wall (Hamlet)? Those answers are not a damage table. The character tier list ranks the same three names on mobility, range, and unlock cost because Streetlamp has not published numeric DPS, and invented numbers would not survive the wipe anyway.
Spend the first hours on Nyx or Fina so you learn dash-cancels, launches, and when to dump a special. Cash a clear into Hamlet if days remain on the demo clock. Then come back here only to jump — not to reread the same three paragraphs.
When the September window closes, this roster is the part of SlashZero most likely to grow. Streetlamp has already shown a fourth silhouette on the official site. Until Spring 2027, these three kits are the whole fight: blades, guns, or a folding shield. Learn one cleanly instead of bouncing every death.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Timehackers jumping into the demo or planning for launch.
How many Timehackers can I play in the SlashZero demo?
Three. Nyx and Fina start unlocked. Hamlet unlocks after a completed loop, a talk with Rui at the Fortune Chip, and timeline story flags. See how to unlock Hamlet.
Should I start as Nyx or Fina?
Start as Nyx if you want the fastest air and ground movement and can fight at arm's length. Start as Fina if you want safer spacing and dual guns. Compare them on the character tier list.
Is SlashZero a party game with multiple Timehackers in one run?
No. Each loop is one Timehacker. You switch at camp between runs. The game is single-player; there is no second fighter dropping into your timeline.
Where do I learn inputs for each Timehacker?
The controls guide covers dash, aerial juggles, specials, and ultimates. Character pages explain when to pick the kit; they do not replace the input list.
Will more Timehackers show up at the Spring 2027 launch?
Streetlamp's site already teases additional silhouettes. Treat this hub as the demo roster only. Recheck after launch instead of assuming Nyx, Fina, and Hamlet stay the full list.
